AloqaBank in mahallas: on the path of supporting employment of the population and entrepreneurship

The Deputy Chairman of the Board of AloqaBank held meetings with residents and entrepreneurs in the mahallas of Urgench city. During the meeting, the problems of citizens and entrepreneurs, employment issues, as well as opportunities to use credit funds were studied directly on site.

As part of the meeting, households included in the list of poor families were visited. Living conditions and sources of income of the families were closely reviewed, and permanent and profitable jobs were offered to able-bodied unemployed members.

Also, 2 large investment projects planned for implementation in Urgench city with a total value of 108 billion soums were reviewed. Within these projects covering industry and services, it is planned to establish paper recycling and production of knitwear products, as a result of which the creation of about 900 new jobs is envisaged.

As a result of the negotiations, an agreement was reached on financing the projects and attracting unemployed citizens from poor families first of all to the jobs being created.

AloqaBank will continue systematic work to ensure employment of the population, reduce poverty and support entrepreneurship in the territories assigned to it.
