The Surkhandarya Regional Stage of the "Heirs of Mirzo Ulugbek" Competition Has Concluded

From March 3-11, the first stage of the "Heirs of Mirzo Ulugbek" competition was held in all cities and districts of Surkhandarya region. It was attended by 901 talented young people. As a result, 75 participants emerged as winners and received invitations to the regional stage.

The second stage, the regional level held on April 8-10, turned into a true platform for science, innovation, and startup ideas. There, 72 young talents presented their ideas. The jury identified 20 of the most advanced participants as winners, who received invitations to the republican stage. Each winner was awarded a cash prize of 3,750,000 soums.

The competition process was evaluated by experienced specialists, in particular:

  • Specialists from the Department of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of Surkhandarya region;
  • Representatives of Termez State Engineering and Technology Institute;
  • IT Park residents;
  • Representatives of the Youth Academy;
  • Active representatives of the startup ecosystem — officials from Startup Garage.

"Heirs of Mirzo Ulugbek" is a project that inspires young people toward science and innovation, selecting from among them future inventors and startup founders.
