Subsidies for mortgage loans!
According to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PF–29 dated February 24, 2026, target indicators for the allocation of mortgage loans and payment of subsidies for 2026 have been approved.
In accordance with Clause 14 of the Decree, applications for mortgage loan subsidies are accepted within the approved parameters from March 16 to December 1.
The Decree also establishes that the process of assessing citizens’ eligibility based on social criteria for receiving subsidies is carried out automatically, without human involvement, through the Ministry of Economy and Finance’s software system “subsidiya.idm.uz”.
According to the Regulation on the procedure for providing subsidies to citizens for housing purchase, approved by the Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 182 dated March 25, 2020:
applications are accepted through Public Service Centers and the Unified Interactive Public Services Portal (my.gov.uz);
the review process is conducted automatically via an integrated system involving the following organizations: the Migration Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers, the Ministry of Economy and Finance, the National Agency for Social Protection, the Ministry of Justice, the Cadastre Agency, the Tax Committee, and participating commercial banks.
Under this regulation, an applicant who scores 30 points or more based on social criteria is recognized as eligible and is entitled to receive a subsidy for a mortgage loan to purchase housing.
The applicant’s credit history must meet the internal requirements of at least one participating commercial bank.
To implement the Decree, the Ministry of Economy and Finance started accepting applications for mortgage subsidies on March 16 of this year at 14:00.
