A close review was conducted of the operations of the University of Economics and Pedagogy, located in the Gungon NCA area of Karshi.
The review found that the university has not yet begun operating at full capacity and that its official opening ceremony has not been held.
The discussion covered bringing the university to full operation in a short time, identifying existing jobs and those planned for creation, and placing unemployed and vulnerable residents of the area in those positions. Particular attention was given to securing employment for the population and strengthening stable sources of household income.
Views were also exchanged on expanding the university’s capacity to enrol school graduates in higher education, providing students with quality education, training qualified specialists aligned with labour-market needs, and raising the area’s human-resource potential.
Relevant tasks were set to create new jobs by bringing the university to full capacity, widen young people’s access to quality education, and contribute to the area’s socio-economic development.
