Within the framework of cooperation with the Asian Development Bank (ADB) on the implementation of ESG standards, a two-day training seminar titled “ESG Capacity Building for the Aloqabank Team” was held at JSC “Aloqabank” on February of this year.
The training program, aimed at enhancing staff qualifications, covered the fundamentals of ESG, a presentation of the bank's draft ESG strategy, and an analysis of the environmental aspects of its implementation. Particular attention was paid to the review of international reporting under the IFRS S1, S2, and GRI standards. This training will strengthen internal expertise, ensure the effective implementation of developed tools, and foster a unified understanding of sustainable development principles among the bank personnel.
The project’s realization represents a consistent and systematic stage in the development of this area and is a key factor for the successful implementation of Aloqabank's ESG strategy.
